Diamond Holding sums up the project "1941-1945. Stories of the witnesses"

Diamond Holding has launched the project "1941-1945 Stories of the witnesses" to the Victory Day as a tribute to the witnesses and participants of these heroic events.

It's been 69 years since the Russian victory in the Great Patriotic War. This is a victory for all of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. All days are etched in their memory, and each memory hurts and touches us just as strong as before".

Thanks to them - we have an opportunity to wake up every morning and live. Unfortunately, time lessens the emotions of history. But we cannot afford the sacrifices made everyday, many years ago,  when our people left us - to be forgotten or even worse devalued.

Diamond Holding in conjunction with the newspaper "Trud" has launched the project "1941-1945. Stories of the witnesses" to the Victory Day as a tribute to the heroes and witnesses of those terrible and heroic events and as a reminder to a new generation that fortunately, has not experienced such a tragedy. 

In the days of May the employers of Diamond Holding together with journalists visited veterans and participants of the war – well-known scientists, outstanding athletes, favorite artists of the older generation and other legendary people who experienced and fought for the life of the Soviet people. The company congratulated them on the upcoming holiday and presented food baskets with products of its own brands - delicious conserves from SPELO-ZRELO, and the drinks VALENKI and ZOLOTO FRANTSII (GOLD OF FRANCE).

The People's Artist of the USSR, a laureate of the Lenin Prize, V.S.Lanovoy, a Soviet writer, the author of the legendary film "Bolshaya peremena", G.M.Sadovnikov, a famous Soviet football player, the scorer of the "golden goal" for the USSR team in the final of European Championship in 1960 V.V.Ponedelnik, the People's Artist of Russia, a laureate of the State Prize of Russia V.N.Shilovskii, an announcer of Central Radio and Central Television, the People's Artist of Russia V.I.Balashov, a laureate of the State Prize of the USSR, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia B. A.Erengross, a war veteran, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Veterans of Moscow Yu.P.Belikov, the People's Artist of Russia V.I.Talyzina, a composer, the People's Artist of the USSR, a laureate of the Lenin Prize, the author of the best-loved songs about the war "Moskvichi" and "Temnaya noch" A.Ya.Eshpay, an outstanding scientist, a laureate of Lenin Prize and State Prizes twice, a holder of the Order of Lenin, two Orders of the Red Star, World War II of the first-degree Yu.N.Mazhorov, the People's Artist of Russia, a soloist of the National orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments A.V.Tihonov, a chess grandmaster E.A.Vasyukov, the People's Artist of Russia O.B.Voronets shared with their stories of the events of those years.

The enduring power of the spirit, incredible resistance to all hardship, love of the Motherland, optimism and dedication to their ideas unites all these famous people. The journalists of the newspaper "Trud" and the employees of Diamond Holding recorded carefully all the stories about the war, and they will be published in the newspaper and on our website, so that no one will forget what an incredible price was paid by the Soviet people to the victory over fascism.
