How Diamond Holding and VALENKI made a film

A large-scale shot of the short film "The New Adventures of foreigners in Russia" was held in the last days of winter near Moscow as part of a creative project of Diamond Holding and the brand VALENKI, which ironically reflects Russian identity in a modern concept and the unquenchable interest of foreigners in the mysterious Russian soul.

The main role was played by the People's Artist of Russia, Alexei Buldakov, the famous hero of Russian folklore and films about the peculiarities of Russian fishing, hunting, politics and other national traditions, a favorite General Ivolgin or Mikhalych.

One of the foreigners lost in the winter woods was played by Inusa Dawuda, the famous German musician, singer, author of the popular hits "Rumours (Digi Digi)", "Rub-A-Dub Girl". He is not a stranger to Russian hospitality, although some aspects of ordinary life in the Russian outback can be a real surprise for him.

The second day of shooting took place in the open air, on the territory of Cinema Town.

 
The day was sunny, but suddenly very frosty. Minus nine degrees! Artists need to keep warm!

 
Probably around the whole near Moscow it was the only place where there was snow.

 
The foreigners were frozen, but we were not. We know what to do!

     
And work in the frost with pleasure!

Thanks to the peculiar effervescent humor, clear and close to every Russian person, but leading to a screeching halt for any foreigner, and easy attitude to life, the project promises to be interesting and full of very positive energy.

The incendiary musical soundtrack supporting the overall theme of the project was specially written for the film.

The shooting is organized by Diamond Holding as a social project aimed at supporting Russian foundations, strengthening national cohesion, creating a positive and benevolent heritage.
