The unforgettable journey from the XXI century to the distant past, to the Victorian era, was held on August 4, 2013, when a group of leading bloggers took with themselves a warmer upper drink - the VALENKI vodka.
According to established stereotypes, a blogger is quite a strange man who lives in the Internet, broadcasting to the world by means of a keyboard and pictures. No one hears or sees him. They just read. However, you can safely dispel this myth, because this event has shown that bloggers in the real world are very quick off the mark and hungry for adventures; they are distracted safely from their monitors and network life and they interact with fun new fun people, and relax in full. Exactly, such people gathered in a journey through time.
The history of this blog tour is marked by the fact that an English Earl, purchased a real castle in the distant and unknown to the British lands, in Radomyshyl, Ukraine.
A most genuine festival was organized on this occasion, to which famous ladies and gentlemen were invited. There was a special dress code . Simple dresses of a rural theme for women, or contrastingly, luxury dresses, embroidered with pearls, complemented with hats and gloves.
Men were dressed in blazers, vests, and their heads were decorated with cylinders… In their hands, they held sticks, pipes and ... cameras
People came from far and wide to attend the event: St. Petersburg, Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Moscow and other cities of Russia and Ukraine.
The whole event seemed like a real silent movie.
Guests were greeted at the entrance by the Earl, his family and retinue.
The event began with a buffet table in a bright summer glade where along with canapés with caviar and pickles, cakes and traditional English tea, the VALENKI vodka was well-suited, and was tasted little by little to improve the appetite.
There was a variety of entertainment at the castle. The area for archery and revolvers, which were so popular in the XIX century, was arranged at the woodpile, in the farthest part of the garden. Both men and women participated in the shooting competitions with revolvers, and the most accurate shot was chosen at the end, and it was a lovely lady who received whole box of VALENKI vodka, which, in her subsequent opinion, was to her relatives’ taste.
Men also won awards, but only in archery, a more time-consuming test. To pull the string is not the same as to squeeze the trigger.
Drawing was a common pastime in the XIX century, so a specially invited portrait artist drew the beauty of those present till the end of the event; sometimes it was even better than the reality. And the VALENKI vodka was perfectly turned out.
A photographer was also present. The guests had the opportunity to be photographed with a real vintage camera.
A panel was established, where all guest left signatures for posterity, and this turned out both colorful and original.
At the cocktail time, those present learnt the dances of the Victorian era, played croquet and badminton, floated on boats…
A traditional English aristocrat table was set for guests - with fish, meat, delicious soup, and as an addition, an unusual drink from Russia – the VALENKI vodka.
A real magician was at the dinner, who not only was able to correctly guess cards and demonstrate how to levitate things, but also made different figures from inflatable balls, to the delight of the guests.
Special surprise for guests was duel between the owner of the castle, and one of the guests, who showed too much attention to Earl's wife.
The excited duelists met at the glade, surrounded by their seconds and curious onlookers. But stray bullets, thank heavens, did not find the goal - the men remained alive and healthy.
Short glasses of the warming beverage, the Russian VALENKI vodka were drunk in honor of peace.
All breathed a sigh of relief and were ready to continue having fun, but there was another problem: while the jealous Earl was sorting things out, his beautiful daughter was lost.
The tangled story had to be solved and the guests were involved in a real mystery quest, with intricate ciphers, riddles. But the guests were not stupid and the missing daughter of the Earl was returned to the family under fanfare and applause.
Some drank tea with cakes, some - traditional whiskey and wine, while others remained loyal to the popular VALENKI vodka, which, though went to the head, but in no way led to unconsciousness.
A black-and-white silent film accompanied by a pianist was presented at the evening.
The film was shot in a non-stop regime on the same day – a sort of video report in a nontraditional silent and colorless format for the XXI century and such a standard one for the past centuries.
A ceremony of awarding the most active participants of the day with presents was held in the evening, which was held in the warm atmosphere of the stone hall of the castle.
Guests were presented with prizes and gifts from sponsors of the event, of which the reward from the brand VALENKI vodka was highlighted.
The title of the most beautiful lady carefully selected from the ladies presenting was also given.
The fire show was a spectacular ending to the blog tour of the XIX century.
